He had several brothers and sisters when he was younger. So he had a lot of attention. However, that all changed when his mother got really sick. His father couldn't make enough to support all of them and their mother, so most of them were separated. August was sent by himself to his aunt and uncles house to live with them during all the problems. His father promising that he would come back for him. That was seven years ago. All traces of his parents and family are now gone. August, had never felt so alone before. Growing up he had shown a higher learning capability than other children. He grasped things a lot quicker and learned faster than others. He seemed to have the consciousness of a person much older than he was, though on the inside he was still a kid. His aunt and uncle put him in advanced classes hoping it would be good for him. It was just the opposite. Being with children older than him was a frightening experience. The children made fun of him. Calling him a freak among other nicknames. August learned to ignore such taunts but it still haunts him.
